Passionate volunteer and supporter. Loyal friend. Kindness and generosity personified. These are just a few words to describe Susan Bard, who passed away unexpectedly on Sept 6, 2024. Sue was an Action Read volunteer from 2018 until Sept 2024.

Sue gave generously of her time. She was always the first to volunteer at Action Read community events – no task was too big or small for her. She was full of sparkle, stories and passion – a loyal supporter of Action Read and many other causes close to her heart.

We are so grateful to have known Sue. Her laughter and energy will live on in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to her family.
