Marta came to Action Read to prepare for the Canadian Adult Education Credential test. She was working at the City of Guelph, and had been offered full time employment – but only if she could get her high school equivalency in less than 4 months. The first time she wrote, Marta passed 3 out of 5 sections of the test, but struggled with the writing and math. So she came to Action Read for help.<\/p>\n
Marta was matched with Albert. They met twice a week to work on grammar and work on math problems. Albert suggested writing assignments, which Marta completed as homework and emailed to Albert. She also came to Academic Drop-In and Math Group for extra support.<\/p>\n
