While in person programming is still on hold, Action Read continues to offer many online learning options. We can lend you a laptop if you need it, and can support you in getting comfortable and knowledgeable with online learning. Upcoming Short-Term Programs include:

– Call Centre Training on Zoom. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 – 2:30 pm, March 8 – 31, 2022

– Retail Basics Training. Wednesday and Thursdays, 10:00 am – noon, March 30 – April 22, 2022

Ongoing Programs include:

– One on One Tutoring via Zoom. Ask about getting a tutor!

– GED Class on Zoom. Mondays 6 to 8 pm

– NorthStar Basic Computer Skills Certificate Training with live support from Trisha on Thursdays 10 am – 12 noon.

– The ‘Rainbow Connections’ early literacy kit program. Kits include books, literacy and numeracy play, arts, crafts and more. Call Brenda MacDonald, Program Coordinator for details. Also enjoy our “virtual” family literacy circles posted on our YouTube channel.

– Retails Basics Training on Zoom. Course ran Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:00-2:30 pm from January 10 – 26, 2022.

– Smart Serve Training on Zoom. Course ran 10:00 am – 12:00 pm January 10-17, 2022.
